Fall and Winter 2015

Well if anyone is still following this blog.....I want to say a big hello to all of you!  I can't believe that it has almost been a year since I posted! Here's a little recap of what I have been up to since then.  I am still juicing on occassion, but the fruit in the winter is so horrible. Not a lot of improvement in the health department on this body.

Over Labor Day last year we went camping at Lake Almanor in California.  Beautiful lake and wonderful campgrounds. My youngest son and his family  came with us and we met up with our oldest son and his family there.

We had a lot of fun and it was a great time of family bonding. After 3 days of camping we all traveled on to Quincy, California and went to the Joshua Fest there!  An amazing time!  Thoroughly enjoyed the bands.  Loved all the activities they had to offer.  They have a kids camp, marriage counseling, and just a wonderful time to meet new people and hear Contemporary Christian Rock Music.  The last night my grandaughter age 8, was up by the stage and was singing her little heart out to a song by King and Country. This is one of her favorite bands.  One of the singers came down from the stage and had her sing the song with him.  That was the highlight of her trip!  And by the way, she says she is going to grow up and be a pediatrician that sings to her children patients!

Here are a few pics from that 3 day festival.

Thousand Foot Krutch I had seen them in concert before about 12-13 years ago when they were just starting, at a little church concert in Reno, NV.

A Black Light Puppet show for the kids.  Sorry the picture is so fuzzy.

My oldest Grandson had his first year in Jr. League Football.  They even went on to the championship.  He loved it and we loved watching him play.

So that took up my fall activities and of course we all know that Thanksgiving and Christmas take up a lot of our time with preparations. We did end up with having 7 of the eleven grandkids here for Christmas!  Boy did I have fun and enjoy that.  On Dec. 28th I headed for Arizona where I could enjoy the winter, get out of the cold and play in the sunshine! So much easier on my body.

And Now we are back to Springtime 2016! I'm planting flowers, trying to get back into scrapbooking and creating. So I hope everyone has had a wonderful fall and winter.  I hope this blog can continue on and that I can get an organized life so I can share with you more of life!

Hugs to you my friends!
