Noah's Ark Mini Album

Hi Everyone!  I made a mini album for a baby shower this past week and thought I would share a  pic or two with you. You can view the entire album at my gallery on scrapbook.com.  Just click on the icon on the right side of my blog. I have a lady at my church that loved them so much she hired me out to make some for her. So if I am not around you will know why....I will just have to catch up with everyone later.

This album was made with Debbie Mumm Paper Stack and Bazzill Cardstock.  Of course there's always the Tim Holtz ink for distressing and you gotta have cute ribbons, buttons, and bows.  Thanks to everyone for all of your encouragement!

There's alot of personal things going on in my life right now also, so please don't give up on me.  I just might not be around as much.

so until next time....(hopefully not too long)!

Hugs!

Just to Share

I feel so fortunate to have such wonderful scrappy friends.  I have met some wonderful people online that I know if I needed someone they would be there for me.   One friend in particular is a very talented lady that has a great big heart.  She has an etsy shop called Scrappy by Design. Her shop is filled with the most incredible jewelry and other beautiful things.  Click on the link to see what she does!  You will be pleasantly surprised.  I am hoping that some day we will get to meet in real life...not just on the sites we belong to and the visits we have on the phone.

This past week I recieved the most beautiful gift from her....so I just had to share what she made for me.

The photo on the top of this box is my newest grandson's hand, holding onto his Mama's finger.  He was born premature and weighed less than 2 lbs.   How special and precious this is...and look at all of those beautiful details on this box!
Thank You from the bottom of my heart dear friend!

The  other thing I  wanted to share with you are the beautiful letters that I recieved from my swap partner at scrapbook.com.  Kahlan did a beautiful job  with these...and they are just perfect for my scrapbook room.  Thank You Kahlan!

Hope you all have had a wonderful weekend...filled with fun and getting to share with others around you.  My life is so richly blessed because of others.

Hugs!

I'm going on a diet!

Not the usual type of diet you think of ...but a scrap diet.  After scraproom organization and seeing all the unfinished projects that I have in my room then realizing I have enough to open my own shop when Melissa put up the challenge at scrapbook.com to go on a diet.  I thought to myself...I really need to do this!  I am challenging myself to do this diet for 3 months and see what kind of a dent I can make in my stash.  Hopefully with the diet and unfinished projects I will have some room again in my room.

You can read Melissa's post on her blog here.  Wanna join the diet and unfinshed projects?
What a great combination!  Wish me luck!

Hugs!

Wanna Play?  Here are the easy going rules...Make a list of all those unfinished projects you have in your craft room or ANYTHING around the house.  Post your list on your blog, or a website that you are a member of.  Let me know you are playing and where I can find your list!  During the month you attempt to get some of those unfinished projects completed.  At the end of the month you  post and mark off of your list what you accomplished...(feel proud for doing so!)..and then be in the drawing for a small piece of blog candy from me!  I use random number generator to pick the winner!

Hope you can play this month...you can join at anytime during the month.  No pressure just a way to encourage us to get things done!

Thanks for playing my friends!

Hugs!
