It's Vacation Time!

I can't believe that we are vacationing in Walt Disney World!  Something that has been a dream of mine since I was 8 years old!  When we arrived I wanted someone to pinch me and tell me it wasn't a dream.  I even became tearful, because I just can't believe this is true!  We are here celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and enjoying every minute of it! I will post a few pics of all the fun we are having so those of you that are at your nine to five jobs can wish you were here!
My husband and I are having a blast!  We are getting to meet alot of the celebrities and boy are they a bunch of characters! And I am acting like I am 8 years old again everytime I meet one!  My husband says he's having as much fun just watching me as anything!

Here we are just entering the Magic Kingdom on day one!

Meet the new Jack Skellington and Sally!

And look....I got to meet all 7 dwarfs!

What a fun time we had at the Halloween Party!  And shhh...don't tell my husband but I got flirted with by Captain Jack Sparrow...he even blew me a kiss!  This Miss Sally was swooning!

The next day we went to Epcot and look who I got to meet there!
My favorite Princess Snow White!  I think we are having lunch tomorrow with several of her other Princess Friends!  She asked what other princesses I had met and I told her none...she was the only one.

I have met the Queen of Hearts and the White Rabbit, Pluto, Goofy, Donald and Miss Daisy Duck, Chip n Dale, Rafiki, Balue, and Thumper and Miss Bunny!

I even got a picture with and an autograph from Andre Carmen of DREEY-C.  They were playing in Downtown tonight, and were very good!
I could go on forever about all that I have been doing, but I better get some sleep.

That's all for now my friends! I'm off to Hollywood Tomorrow to see who else I can meet!

Another Milestone - Preschool!

Hi everyone!  I have been meaning to post this for two weeks now but my life has just been so busy! My grandaughter Kaida is starting preschool!  I talked to her the day before she went to school and oh she was so excited!  She told me all about her new dress and that she had a backpack with glue in it!  Above is a Layout of her after her birth with her parents. and then here is a picture of her in her new dress...all excited...ready to go!  Again I can't believe that the time has arrived for this moment in her little life. Already 3 1/2 years old! Grandma calls her "my little lady bug." When I called her back and asked her how she liked preschool she says we had blue day today and she loves playing with her new found friends.  I know she will be my little social butterfly!  So full of life, love, laughter and caring.  Another milestone in the lives of my babies.  How this grandma wishes we lived a little closer.  They live within the same state, but it is a 4 1/2 hr drive.  Just enough distance that you have a harder time just jumping in the car and running over.  Oh the joys that these precious little ones bring into our life.  What blessing all of my grandchldren are to me.  Just another piece of life that can be cherished and remembered.

Hugs to all of my cyber and real life friends!  May your life be as richly blessed with happy pieces of life to cherish.

Where does time go? It seems just like yesterday and I was welcoming a beautiful baby boy into my arms to call me Grandma. And now he started kindergarten! With the blink of an eye he's in school! Here's some photos of him! The first is of course a scrapbooking layout I did of his birth, then we have him at that adorable preschool age of 3 and now look he's standing in front of his school building. He tells me he likes school and that they get to play on the playground. He says with pride in his voice "Grandma they have tater totters!" Of course he means "teeter totters"! Oh so cute! This Grandma couldn't be prouder! I plan on helping in his class with the arts and crafts days. What a new adventure for both of us!

3 years old!

Just a gentle reminder to me that time goes by so fast and that you can't stop it!  Helps me to remember that I need to slow down and enjoy each day because before I know it time will pass and I will wonder what have I been doing, why have I been stressing.  Reminds me of the my motto at the beginning of my new year....what will I create today?  I hope it will be cherished memories with the ones I love.
